Expedition timeline plan

⬇️⬇️⬇️
Day 1: Kathmandu
Meeting at the airport. Check in at the hotel.
You can relax, walk through the streets and shops in the tourist area of Thamel, dine in a restaurant, buy something from the equipment.
At the end of the day, gathering a group in one of the Kathmandu cafes, getting to know and talking.

Day 2: Kathmandu - Besisahar (Besisahar 840m) - Syange (Syange 1070m)
Distance 175 km, travel time 8 hours

Early morning we move by bus to Besisahar (8 hours).
In Besisahar we transfer to jeeps and drive along mountain paths to the village of Syange.
We stop here for a night. In the evening you can go to the waterfalls.

Day 3: Syange (Syange 1070m) - Darapani (Dharapani 1860m)
The distance is 24 km, the travel time is 8 h.

Today is a quite long and tedious transition. But it's worth it - around the landscapes of utter beauty. Not for nothing trekking around Annapurna is considered the most beautiful almost all over the world.
We spend a night in the lodge in Darapani.

Day 4: Darapani (Dharapani 1860m) - Chame (Chame 2630m).
Distance - 16 km, travel time 5 h 30 min.

The road goes along the river through suspension bridges from one side of the river to the other. We will turn off the main path to the small villages that tourists have recently started visiting, walk along a shady forest and across the suspension bridge into Timang. If you are lucky with the weather, you can see the eight-man-manaslu.
The final point for today is Chame, the center of the Manang district. In Cham, there is a bank and an equipment store, as well as several hot springs where you can lie down and relax after the transition.

Day 5: Chame (Chame 2660) - Upper Pisang (Upper Pisang 3300m)
The distance is 13 km, the journey time is 5 hours.

The road is surrounded by Himalayan peaks all the way to Pisang.
We will see an unusual geological formation - an almost smooth layer of rock, protruding 1.5 km up above the river in the form of an amphitheater. Nepalese people call this place "Svargadvar", that is, "Gateway to Paradise".
Let's cross the river again, and, after the bridge, a small steep section in a dense forest.
In Upper Pisang in the evening you can go to a Buddhist temple, and, with the permission of the monks, stay for the duration of the service.
For the night we stay in the guesthouse.

Day 6: Upper Pisang (Upper Pisang 3300m) - Manang (Manang 3570m)
The distance is 23 km, the journey time is 8 hours 45 minutes.

To go to Manang, choose a more scenic upper path - from here panoramic views of the Annapurna massif, Gangapurn 7455m and Tilicho peak 7134 m .. open and gradually continue to climb.
We have to overcome several steep climbs - to reach the beautiful villages of Ghyaru and Braga, surrounded by bizarre rocks.
In Manang, we will stop for one day, as the body needs to acclimatize to mountain conditions. This is a rather large settlement, and there is a medical center in which specialists in "mountain sickness" work. This brings some element of reliability to the journey, in case of problems, medical specialists are near.

Day 7: Manang (Manang 3570m). Radial on Ice Lake (4600m)
The distance is 17 km, the journey time is 7 hours.

Today is a day of rest and acclimatization in Manang.
Here you can observe a stunning view of the Gandapurna glacier and the glacial lake below it, the summits of Annapurna 2,4,3 and the peak of Tilicho
For all comers for better acclimatization radial exit to Ice Lake (4600m), 6-7 h

Day 8: Manang (Manang 3570m) - Tilicho Base Camp (4150 m)
Distance - 16.5 km, travel time 6h 40 min

We turn off from the main track of the track around Annapurna to the valley of the Kangsar river.
Around the Martian landscapes and a narrow path under their feet.
Overnight at Tilicho Base Camp. Here, only a couple of loggias and a minimum of amenities, but usually a lot of tourists.
Day 9: Ascent to the lake Tilicho (Tilicho 4949 m)
The distance is 23.2 km, the journey time is 8 hours 30 minutes.

Radial exit to the lake Tilicho. Relax and dive into contemplation. We will admire the lake, go back to the base camp, have lunch and rest.
A small transition (2-2.5 hours) to the village of Sri Kharka, where there is less height and more comfortable conditions for spending the night.

Day 10: Shrikhara (Shreekhara 4100m) - Yak Kharka (Yak Kharka 4020 m)
Distance - 10.2 km, travel time 4 h 20 min

Again we return to the main path around Annapurna without entering Manang. In Yak Khara we are waiting for delicious food and overnight in the guesthouse.

Day 11: Yak Kharka (Yak Kharka 4020 m) - High Camp (High Camp 4925 m)
Distance - 8.3 km, travel time 4 h 50 min

We continue along the gorge along the river Thorung Khola. Around the lifeless mountain desert.
In High Camp will be our last and highest overnight stay on this track.
Tomorrow we will cross the Torung La pass (5416 m). We go to bed early. Comfortable sleep can not wait - affects the cold and altitude.

Day 12: Thorong La Pass 5416m - Muktinath 3760m
Distance - 13 km, travel time 6 h 30 min

On the pass Thorong-La overlooking the top of Annapurna. Here is a small tea house where you can drink a cup of hot tea.
Descent to Muktinath. It is a huge temple complex that combines Hindu, Buddhist and Saiva temples. It is considered a place of power. There is an eternal flame and 108 cleansing sources. According to legend, if you run under them and then plunge into the pools - the karma will be cleared.

Day 13: Muktinath (Muktinath 3760 m) - Jomsom (Jomsom 2720 m)
Distance - 23 km, travel time 6 h 30 min

Until Jomsom we will go the wrong way, which goes most of the tourists.
Leave in the direction of the picturesque village of Lupra.
Lupra is a traditional Nepalese village, hidden in the gorge between Kagbeni and Joms. Away from the tourist trails, she managed to preserve her identity, as well as part of her shamanistic faith, the Bon religion.
At will the way from Muktinath to Jomsom can be driven by jeep.

Day 14: Fly Jomsom - Pokhara

In the city of Jomsom you have a choice. You can fly to Pokhara on a small plane, the flight on which will take no more than half an hour.
In cloudless weather, stunning views of the mountains.
Free time in Pokhara.
After checking into the hotel, there is time to explore the area.
You can go to the waterfalls Davis, and then to the lake Phewa. On the lake, rent long wooden boats and sail to the island with the temple of the female goddess Varaha. If you sail away, there are views of the quiet bays of the lake with rice fields gently sloping down.
Also from Jomson Airport, you can fly directly to Kathmandu.

Day 15: Transfer Pokhara - Kathmandu.

Early transfer (bus leaves at 7:00 am) from Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist bus.
